Tasha Penson

Tasha Penson has spent over 10 years working to help families, particularly in communities of color, invest in the nation’s leading wealth asset—home ownership. Her commitment to helping communities understand the value of home investment has led her to develop training seminars, forums and initiatives that not only educate communities on the value of home ownership, but has also provided them valuable tools necessary to maneuver the often discouraging road to home ownership. Tasha has led numerous efforts to expand home ownership for low and middle income families. Her professional motto is Transforming Lives, One Home at A Time.

 

Tasha began her career in hotel and restaurant management in 1994 working for national restaurant and hotel chains in Fort Worth, Texas. She later transitioned to general management for Enterprise Rental Car Company where she quickly advanced up the management ladder. She transitioned in 2005 into real estate after realizing how her business and management background would serve as a valuable resource for communities of color and their need to develop capital and measured wealth assets. Since that time she has helped numerous home buyers and sellers realize their dreams in a real estate transaction with integrity, courtesy, honesty and excellent customer service.  In addition Tasha has received numerous industry awards to include receiving the 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Southwest Dallas Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTOR® and the 2012 REALTOR® of the Year Award from the Women’s Council for the Southwest Dallas Chapter Council Of REALTORS®. Furthermore, in 2013 she was the President of Southwest Dallas Women’s Council of REALTORS® and in 2015 served as the State Coordinator for the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

 

Tasha is also actively involved in several professional organizations to include Keller Williams Realty Associate Leadership Council 2011,2012, 2015 among others. She also combines her professional career with her civic and community activities. Some of her civic engagement includes working with Children First Counseling Center and the Promise House in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

 

Tasha earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Management from The University of North Texas. She is also a graduate of the Texas Realtors Leadership Program, as well as an alumnus of the 21st Class for Metrotex Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. She is married to her supportive husband, Mark.
