Sherard Hooper, M.Ed.

 Sherard O. Hooper is a native of Dallas, TX, where he attended W.T. White High School in the Dallas Independent School District. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. He then went on to pursue and earn a master’s degree in Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University in 2008. Sherard also has a Texas Teaching Certification in EC-12 Special Education.

 

Mr. Hooper has worked in education since 2004, working in various positions for the Dallas Independent School District and Houston Independent School District. Most recently he held the position of a special education teacher and football coach for Jack Yates High School in Houston TX. He is extremely passionate about education and working with youth to positively impact lives and cultivate the desire in the students which he encounters. He aspires to transition into school administration and possibly superintendent of schools in the very near future.

 

Mr. Hooper is a spring 2010 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated through the Missouri City-Sugar Land (TX) Alumni Chapter. He has held the position of Membership Intake Chair and currently holds the title of Keeper of Records for the chapter. He is extremely active within the chapter, working on different committees.
